Overview
Orbit is a browser-based cinematics editor for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition — the filming companion to Quarry. Compose camera moves, environment changes, and effects on an After-Effects-style timeline, preview them live in a 3D viewport, then export a pack whose cinematics play in-game from a command or trigger.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Worlds are parsed on your machine and never uploaded.
The workspace
- Viewport (center) — a live 3D view of your imported world. Right-drag to look, W A S D / Q E to fly. Clicking the view returns to author mode so you can recompose a shot.
- Scenes (left) — each scene is one self-contained cinematic with its own timeline and duration.
- Properties (right) — edits for the currently selected keyframe, cut, marker, or effect.
- Timeline (bottom) — the multi-track keyframe editor. Drag its top edge to resize it.
A typical workflow
- Import a world — a
.mcworld, a world folder, or drag one anywhere. - Add a scene and set its duration.
- Fly the viewport to a pose and press Keyframe to capture a camera keyframe; repeat to build a move.
- Layer in cuts, environment keys, effects, and markers.
- Export a
.mctemplate,.mcworld, or.mcaddonand play it in-game with/orbit play <scene>.
